Chickpea and Avocado Spread

Serves: 2 - 3 servings
- 1 15oz can Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans, drained
- 1 large or 2 small Avocados
- 1½ - 2 tbsp Red Onion, finely diced (more or less to taste)
- 1 tbsp Cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 Lime, juiced
- ½ - 1 tsp Sea Salt, (more or less to taste)
- Drain chickpeas
- In a large bowl, mash chickpeas to desired consistency (I like my a little chunky)
- Add avocado(s), mash until blended with chickpeas
- Add diced red onion, cilantro, lime juice, stir to combine
- Add salt, start with ½ tsp and add more if desired
- Stir to combine
- Enjoy as a sandwich or as a dip
